BEAR VALLEY RIDERS RANCH RODEOS GENERAL RULES AND INFORMATION

• Judges have the right to call a time penalty or disqualify for rule
violation.
• Absolutely NO roughing the cattle!
• If there is a tie among teams during a regular rodeo, the points will be split. In other words;
a 3-way tie for 2nd place in Sorting, the points for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th places will be divided among the tying
teams. There will be no run offs for tie breakers.
• Re-rides will be given only when a situation arises that is due to trailer or arena failure. If a calf is forced over the gates/panels by a horse/rider, this will result in a DQ. Failure
of a rider to control his or her horse, or a failure of a rider’s equipment does not constitute a re-ride. Time will
continue to run unless another team member calls time and ends the event.
• There will be pay back for each event, inquire at registration table to ascertain to which placement.
• Shouting profanity; rude or aggressive behavior toward a judge, announcer, spectator, or another contestant
may result in a penalty or disqualification. Sportsman like conduct and a sense of fair play must be employed at all times.
• A “Team” consists of 4 riders. Children are allowed to
participate as a rider on fully paid team. Parent or Guardian of Child must sign waiver on behalf of the Child before Child
may participate at any level within the rodeo.
• Hazing is only allowed with rider’s hat.
• No DOGS allowed!
• Judges’ rulings are FINAL. There will be no heckling
by club members or participants
• Registration table closes at 30 minutes before the rodeo starts.
All teams must be paid in full prior to the Rodeo starting.
*Point system: 1st place = 25 pts; 2nd place = 24 pts, 3rd place
= 23 points, etc. A team that receives a NT (no time) will automatically earn 5 pts. DQs receive no points.
