Welcome to my arting side... As I'm guessing you'll discover by looking around in here that I live and breathe arting... in all its glory. Arting is my life, plain and simple. I've done it forever, and expect to continue at least until the day I pass into the next realm of being.
I don't limit myself to any one medium because the way I work requires me to approach my arting in a holistic manner. I am not a linear thinker in most things. I wander and gather and collect until I have enough pieces of the puzzle to begin to form a whole picture, then I search out the remaining pieces for completion.
Though I'm currently limited to several media—writing, drawing, painting and assemblage sculpting—I hope to eventually get back into ceramic sculpting, printmaking and other shelved loves. I also hope to broaden my horizons by moving into glass work, metal work and more deeply into jewelry and clothing.
I love life and I love art. I believe that shows in my work... it has always reflected my innermost being, though recently that definition has become clearer to me and has taken a bit of a shifting fork in the road. I'm guessing that shift has to do with age and reflection/response to the world around me.
I hope you enjoy your wander about in here... if you have any questions, comments or input, please feel free to email me at onehuming@gmail.com Thanks for sharing in my life, Blythe
