Randall Luttenberg (82) - "A long time ago, in the Queen's own county, a group of friends joined together to form a council known to one and all as F.U.B.A.R. (Friends United in the Big Apple Region) AZA. Legends in their own minds, these brave souls made a lot of noise, a lot of friends, a little trouble (what's a curfew for, anyway?), the occasional speech, and some money for good causes.

As founding president of FUBAR, I can only hope there's someone reading this who remembers us fondly. Reading this page brought back alot of memories..

After college (SUNY Buffalo) I worked for about 4 years as a photographer in NYC. I moved to Florida in 1991 (a jew from NY in Florida, who'da thought?) and now live in Orlando (there really is a nice little city about 20 miles from the theme parks). In the mid-1990's I directed and produced some community and semi-pro theater (and did a fair bit of acting and singing as well).

Since '95 I've been creative director for an educational toy company, which is a bit like Tom Hanks' job in "Big", and I get to travel overseas pretty often. I'm active in local environmental organizations. At present I'm helping to organize an organic farmer's market as well as weekly canoeing cleanups of local lakes and rivers (that BBYO organizing experience is really paying off!).

Much to my mother's growing dismay, I have yet to marry or reproduce.

I look forward to reconnecting. As they say down here in Dixie, Shalom Y'all!

Jason Madfes (82) - "College at Bradneis outside of Boston. Then Cardozo School of Law in NYC. Lived in Greenwich Village during law school and for a few years after. Met wife at a bar in NYC - former CVR BBG. Got married in '91. Two kids Mallory, 6 and Jared 4.

Practice law for 8 years - litigation in NYC. Then gave it up for a year, moved to FL with family. Moved back to Northeast, currently in Greenwich, CT. Now, I am in-house counsel at a mortage bank - The New York Mortgage Company, LLC- in NYC."

Eric Abbey (83) - "Where to begin. I feel I never left BBYO. I went to college locally in New York. First at Nassau CC then on to Baruch (CUNY) where I did get my degree prior to the 90's. While going to school I continued my connection with BBYO (in NSR). First as a advisor then as a field staff and now again as an advisor. With only an 18 month break in the late 80's BBYO has been an active part of my life for over 20 years.

I am on my 2nd marriage. The first one produced my son Alex('95). The current one had brought me a daughter Alison('01). I currently reside in Oceanside.

As a founding member of FUBAR AZA. I have great memories from chapter and regional events. because I am still active in BBYO. I kind of get to relive some of them but as the adult now, and I love it. I even get a chance once in a while to tell some current members some old tales (not the really bad ones).

I have been working for Liberty Mutual Group for over 10 years as a sales representative. At the present I run a small office for them in Brooklyn (Ave L & E 49th st)

I could go on forever, but I won't. But I would like to here from some out of touch friends.

Remeber "All Hail the Grand FUBAR."

1984

Cathy (Feldman) Cahn (84) - "I have been pretty busy taking care of my 2 daughters-future BBG's-and I have never fully left BBYO. After 6 years as field staff, and 6 years on hiatus to raise my family, I am now back with BBYO as the Assistant Regional Director. BBYO has been, and hopefully always will be, a part of my life."

Reed Podell (84) - "For those of you that remember Achad, I was its last president. Under my stewardship, the chapter was tried before the B'nai Brith adult board and, as a result, the entire executive board was expelled and the chapter charter was revoked. Sorry. However, as Donna Weissblatt later confided, we weren't so bad, we just pulled college-type pranks and BBYO was not that type of organization. Anyway, after high school, I graduated from Brooklyn College and later graduated from New York Law School. I work for a law firm in Manhattan. I now live on Staten Island with my wife, Lori, and our infant daughter, Emily. I would love to hear from any of you who fondly remember Achad."

I am currently living in Forest Hills, Queens and working in Manahattan. I can be reached via e-mail either at ARKEATS@aol.com or at VilliLobos@aol.com.

The only negative, really, is that my mother passed away this past Halloween after a long battle with liver disease. She had a transplant 9 years ago, and that liver failed and was about to get a new liver. So, always remember to tell your parents you love them, because you never know when it will be the last time you can do so.

I'd love to hear from y'all!"

My wife (no BBYO relations) and also purchased a Merry Maids house cleaning service and now have 11 employees who clean approximately 100 homes per week. We also just started a house sitting service. Our website, http://www.merry-maids.com

We have 2 children, Jared Scott (3yrs old) and Eva Rachel (7 months). Stay tuned we are planning on having 2 more children.

I miss Canarsie and the people I had relationships with. There will never be a better place to grow up.

Scott Tabacco (87) - "Hi everyone. Seeing some of the names here really brings back a ton of great memories. Well let me tell you what I've been up to.

After BBYO I went to Kingsborough for a few years. I didn't find anything that interested me so I started working for a brokerage firm. I also got married in '92. After a couple of years at the brokerage firm I was getting a little restless so I decided to try another brokerage firm. That was about the same time that my marriage ended. Anyway I stayed at this brokerage firm for about 2 years and then decided that I didn't like what I was doing so I said let me try doing something else. What I did was I went into the computer field. I pursued a career in tech support. As it turned out I have a pretty good feel for computers and was soon working for a major hospital in the city in charge of one of their department networks. I stayed there for over 4 years and then decided to move on. I now work in a small brokerage firm as part of their Network Support Team. Also somewhere in the middle of that I got married again and I now have a son who was born in May of '01.

I now live in NJ and I am loving every minute of it.

I bumped into Michelle(Glickman)Gold a few weeks ago and that brought back some great memories.

I hope to hear from more people soon.

My e-mail address is stabacco1@aol.com.

Looking forward to hearing from everyone.
