Team
Well, I think they are way cool. That is the Awana Missionary's daughter and nephew with us. Now let me see. On the left we have Tom and Heather, the team leaders from Chicago area but originally from St. Louis, which I'm told is important. Then Erin, also from St. Louis, Missouri. That's me (Brian from Oregon) in the back and Joey from Hawaii (hey Joey, see any hula girls or surfers lately?). He is holding Happy Joyce, the missionary's daughter, and that was Joseph, his nephew, in front of Erin. Next is Katie from Alabama and Jessica from Pennsylvania. Finally Amy is wearing the hat, from Joplin, Missoura (that is not a typo) and Keith from Washington state. The person you don't see in the picture (if you look hard you might) is the one who worked the hardest and made the entire trip possible. That would be God. His hand is evident to me in His creation. We saw Him working in the hearts of the people of Togo and in our own. I believe I speak for the whole team when I say that without Him all of our efforts would have meant nothing.
