I am now a member of Team 811, Bishop Guertin High School Robotics team. We have a great team, and have been building it year over year.
In our First year, we focused mainly on getting a good solid working robot. It was tough work for the first year, and we wanted to make sure we had a solid foundation. (not much time for much else
though)
In our second year, we spread our wings a little, and try to better represent what First was about. We began our relationship with other local teams, as well as our new found friends from Team 885 in Vermont.
Teams 811 and 885 have found a great friendship, and we invite them to sleep over with our team in our gym school when the come down for the Granite State Regionals.
Our team 2003 motto was “It’s NOT just a robot thing”, and we focused even more effort
on community outreach, and the overall evangilizing of FIRST, Technology and Science. It was a lot of fun, and it really WAS much more than a robot thing. The result....we won the Chairman’s Award at the Granite
State Regional!
For now I will just point you at the team website.
Enjoy!
