(scene: once again we open in the offices of HEW co-commisioner, Kendall Codine....Blade)

(it appears as if Blade he casually relaxing behind his desk....in front of him are a small cup of coffee and a small labtop computer which he frequently carries when on long road trips across the nation....the scene fades into view of the labtop computer which seems to be gracing the image of the long awaited Team Extreme live webcam broadcast....the familiar tune of "Wait and Bleed" by Slipknot graces the speakers which are connected to the labtop computer as Blade impatiently awaits the word of his upcoming opponent....the man, the myth, the legend...."Total Elimination" Eli Flair)

(as the images of Eli Flair and Poison Ivy rest in the rear of the viewer's mind, the words from their mouths begin to spew....the first to speak is none other than the opposition)

ELI: "Judging by the reaction of the HEW fans.... not too many of them were disappointed to see me and Ivy come back to Hardcore Extreme Wrestling. And it seems, just in time, too. J- Smooth has signed a Strap Match between myself and Kendall Codine. This has been a long time in coming.... and I'm going to enjoy what transpires this Thursday night."

(as expected, Flair's words are accompanied by the thoughts which run rampid in the mind of Blade)

Disappointed?....not, more like pleased with your decision to re-enter the HEW. An addition which this company most certainly needs....

Expected?....indeed for it was only a matter of time before the unjustices which run astray here in the HEW lured the eliminator back where he belongs....

Enjoyment?....more like a resentment. The resentment that J-Smooth feels for realizing that by having Team Extreme re-enter the organization, his utter exsistence as the "boss" is in certain jeopardy. Nevertheless, what better way to eliminate the threat, then to have him face executioner....one on one....in a strap match....more than certainty that it will end in either paralyzation or even death....

(Blade sits in silence once again as this time the voice of Poison Ivy echoes throughout)

IVY: "In late 1998, there was a man who entered the CSWA by the name of Blade. He quickly gained notoriety as a member of "The Unholy" and later won both the Greensboro and United States Championships, not to mention find himself opposite Team Extreme, as both members of the Unholy and the short- lived FORSAKEN. He also found his way to several other promotions, such as the HEW, and found a good deal of success in all of them."

ELI: "The bottom line here? I've been ACHING for a one- on- one shot at Codine for nearly a year now. And a strap match? So much the better. We'll see who's the man.... and who's the mouse. And we'll even see where each other's integrity lies."

(once again, Blade's opinions are expressed in response to the words of Team Extreme)

Leave it to Ivy to be the history buff and recap the past two years of my life in one simple paragraph....

The bottom line here?....the bottom line is not how long you've craved a one-on-one confrontation with me Flair....

No....the bottom line here is that we are playing the "marionettes" in J-Smooth's little play which he likes to call the HEW. He doesn't see the heated rivalry of words which stands between us, one which spans over nearly two years and counting. No....he sees the money which will be tucked away into his pocket as a result of the massacre which will take place when the two of us meet. Our match alone will eclipse the ratings which the main event will produce by double....that's a certainty....

This is not of men and mice Flair, this is who will live another day only to meet their demise in the following week. Despite who emerges victorious between the two of us from the chaos which will take place this Thursday, J-Smooth will only derive another plan in an attempt to eliminate the remaining threat....

So Mr. Flair, as you can see, I know where my integrity lies, the true question is....

Do you?

Then and only then, will tyranny come to a close and leave an opening for what is to come....

And I'm certain that you know exactly what that is my friend....
