Plot: Thrawn has won the Dark Force, and with an advanced cloning facility has more than enough people to crew it. Forcing the citizens of Coruscant into hiding by placing cloaked asteroids in the orbit, he starts making his plans to crush the New Republic for good. The Noghri have placed their loyalty to the Republic, even as a commando mission begins on the planet Wayland where the insane Jedi Master C’Baoth guards the Emperor’s storehouse. Two battles explode as the fate of the galaxy is hung in the balance and is tipped by the most unlikely hero.

Review: In favor of time, everything is just as or better than the previous two books. Everything has been intertwined nicely as the battlefield is set. Great lightsaber battle at the end, and the battle at Bilbringi is covered perfectly. Mara Jade and her showdown with her past is awesome, and as you probably guessed, this is not a book to miss out on.
