Plot: The New Republic’s capture of Coruscant is short-lived as the alien population of the planet is being wiped out by a painful and hideous plague. Corran Horn has to find his way out of the Lusankya, Isard’s personal prison facility. And during all of this, the Republic must get all the bacta it can to cure the Krytos Plague; even if means using the Rogues to steal it.

Review: Here we see the nirvana of action in Star Wars novels. Corran’s escape and all the action enclosed were skillfully written, proof that writing can only get better with time. The space battles had more or less the same level of writing, which is damn near perfect. Anyone that’s written a fanfic with both space and ground battles know they have on edge on one of them. Few people can pull both off, and I’m happy to say Stackpole’s one of them. A must-read for all you guys out there.
