2010 Blue Family Reunion Plans Saturday and Sunday, June 26 – 27, 2010 In the Winter 2010 issue of The Chalice we told you that we would publish detailed plans for the Reunion in the Spring issue. However, our plans have not progressed to the point where we can tell you anything new. We’re sorry we can’t blame it ALL on the heavy snowfall in West Virginia. To summarize, we plan to meet at Ephraim and Karen Herriott’s home near Springfield, WV at 8:00AM on Saturday, June 26th. We will have a catered continental breakfast, check-in and receive name tags. The rest of the morning will consist of the “Welcome”, brief talks, and a tour of some former Blue land and local cemeteries in the Springfield area. At noon we will have a catered picnic lunch at the Herriott home. In the afternoon we will drive to the Romney area and visit some historic sites, then return to Springfield for a catered supper. On Sunday, June 27 th, we will drive over to Jefferson County, WV, to join Richard Blue in his family’s annual picnic and tour of the dairy farm.
