Signed by Gordon Dalziel in July 2008. Bellshill boy Paul joined Hearts in August 2002 and made 22 appearances for the Jam Tarts His only goal for the club was a cracking 25 yard shot in a 1-1 draw against Killie at Tynecastle . Paul had a loan spell with Queen of the South turning out 13 times for The Doonhamers. He joined Inverness Caledonian Thistle in 2004-05 but moved onto Raith Rovers for the remainder of the season. Paul had a successful six months with Australian side Sorrento, where he was voted Player of the Year. From Down Under to Hamilton Accies in October 2005 and 15 appearances before moving to Stranraer in August 2006 where he scored 3 goals in 26 appearances for the Stair Park side. Paul moved to Berwick Rangers in June 2007 spending a season at Shielfield .
