Bond Cars

One of the Most noticed features of James Bond is his car. Hear are some of James Bond Cars

In Goldfinger and Thunderball, Sean Connery drove a silver Aston Martin DB5 with some deadly options provided by Q branch.

The Aston Martin came equipped with:
An ejector seat (activated by a hidden button on the gear stick), Bulletproof front and rear windows ,Smoke screen, Tracking mechanism, Machine guns, Revolving Licence plates, Tire shredders, Oil slick. Download the Aston Martin DB5 Background. it is for 800x600 and made by MGM.

Roger Moore's Bond era brought with it a new car -- the Lotus Esprit which would be seen in "The Spy Who Loved Me" and "For Your Eyes Only." The unique feature of this car was its ability to travel underwater. This was accomplished by using a number of different cars, some shells and some functional. To achieve the realism characteristic of Bond films, the car seen underwater was a specially designed Lotus being driven by divers with oxygen tanks. This car came equipped with some other Bond gadgets including: torpedoes, oil slick, and for navigational purposes -- a periscope.

For Timothy Dalton's Bond, Aston Martin equipped him with a V8 Volante, which doesn't look that different from the DB5.

Dalton's toy came with these "optional extras" Bulletproof everything, Twin rockets located behind those innocuous looking fog lights, Jet engine booster rocket, Laser beam -- to vastly increase the corrosion of unwanted police cars (just watch the movie!), Side mounted skis, Self Destruct -- which of course comes in useful.

As almost everyone knows (how could you miss it?), Pierce Brosnan was handed the keys to a beautiful new BMW Z3 Roadster in his debut film, GoldenEye. BMW used the new Bond to advertise their new pride and joy -- they also paid some big bucks to do this! With BMW, GoldenEye's publicity helped elevate it to one of the most successful movies of 1995.

This BMW never saw much action in GoldenEye -- the most it saw was the beautiful shores of Cuba, but it was equipped with some lethal concoctions from Q branch

.

After BMW's successful product placement in GoldenEye, the company decided to use the next Bond film to promote another vehicle. In Tomorrow Never Dies, Bond drives a BMW 750i. It comes equipped with many options not included in the consumer version; a panel of rockets fire from the roof, a sophisticated gas and electrifying security system, and tire shredding spikes. But the most ingenious 'Q' branch extra is the cellular phone that allows Bond to control the car from anywhere -- including the back seat. BMW Z8

It Is Out!!!  The new car for The World Is Not Enough will be the BMW Z8.  With A V-8 and 400 Hp this can my look like the Z3 but it dose go fast.  That may hint for a big car chase like the one in TND.  The car is bot being sold at this time but it should start right after the movie comes out.  bmwz07-top.jpg (14135 bytes)Click On the picture for a big picture od the car with out a top.
