Richie Sambora's long awaited 2nd solo album. Released in '97 in Japan and '98 in the rest of the world. The 13th Track is a bonus track for Japan only. The album is a bit less blues-y and more rock orientated than Stranger In This Town.

The Japanese version of this album features some songs in an unfinished state, somewhere between demo and release quality. The basic structure of the songs is the same but often you can hear the band warming up, clapping or Richie messing around and joking.

The more rocky tracks are Hard Times Come Easy (the 1st single), If God Was A Woman, Chained, Downside Of Love (on which Richie sounds a lot like Brian May). In it For Love and All That Really Matters are the ballads of the album. Both are slow love songs.

I have to say I prefer this to Jon's 2nd solo album. This is less pop friendly, more like the BJ records, with an Eric Clayton-esque edge to the tunes.
