KA-BAR

The rifle is definitely a Marines best friend
till the bullets are gone and the ammo is spent.
Most would give up and say, “This is the end!”
but the Leatherneck still has a life to defend

With nerves of steel he pulls his blade,
grits his teeth and into hell he wades.
With knife in hand he yells, “Semper Fi,”
“Come on Marine, it's do or die”

You will never know fear
'til you look into the eyes
of a Devil Dog with the will to survive.
True to the Corps and forged with hell's flames;
just like his KA-BAR, brings honor to the name.

United States Marine
the first to fight
On guard and at the ready
Sleep well tonight...
