Give me a quick run down of  your life story. Where from etc.

How long have you been playing bass? 

been playing for about 10 years                                
                                                

What made you start? What was your first BASS moment?

hanging out in Tom's living room listening to the Doors, 5 in 1 came on , there was a lonely bass sitting around........that was about it.......                               
                

What kinds of basses have you played and owned?

had a lot of beaters.......I've got a G&L L-2000 presently 
                                                       

 Can you tell me what gear you use? Like from your amp to your strings and effects

right now I use an old Hartke head with a SWR Triad cabinet.......looking for a 4/10 SWR mate for it............strings?.........whatever is affordable.  (they break alot)

 When did you start playing in bands? What other bands have you played in?

started playing w/ Tom first off, we've done some different lineups, but Tom, Paul, Joe, & I have been jamming for quite
awhile.......                                                          

What song has your best bass line in it? How long does it take to lay the bass down in the studio?

I'm the last person to say what's best or worst as far as our music is concerned, I try to stay objective...in the studio, we do pretty well in terms of how long...................I guess being under the gun ($) tends to motivate.........                               

Do you write songs on bass only?

for the most part, I do. It's what I feel comfortable with.                                           
        

What do you do to set yourself apart from the band as far as sound, so you don't get lost in the mix?

I try to write a different song that somehow fits the rhythm.............it doesn't always work, but that's what rehearsal's
for.................                                                         
    

If you could change something about your bass skills what would it be?

I'd like to be able to use my pinky on my left hand, but it sort of has a mind of it's own...............I think it's trying to undermine me..............                                                    

How would you describe your playing style?   

well, it isn't so much a "style" so much as it's just me being self-taught & just doing what sounds right to me........whether it is or not............        
                                    

If you could be in any band for a day who would it be?

borgo...........that's a silly question...........                                                          
        

Who's your favorite bass player of all time?

 of all time?...........too many for different reasons.......Entwhistle,Geezer, J.P. Jones.....sort of a common denominator there but suffice to say anyone who trys to play a different song than what the others in the band are playing, if that makes any sense.......           
                                                                             
                                                    

What's in your Cd player right now?

Clutch- Pure Rock Fury, Miles Davis/ John Coltrane, Tool-Lateralus, Hendrix- Band of Gypsy's, Ramones- Mania..
