My Own Veggie Soup Recipe

  • 2 lbs ground chuck
  • 1 med onion, diced
  • 2 c sliced carrots
  • 1/2 head cabbage
  • 1 can corn, drained
  • 1 can green beans, drained
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 4 med peeled potatos, cut into large size pieces
  • 1 c diced celery
  • 1 beef bouillon cube
  • 1 tsp each of black pepper and garlic powder
  • salt to taste (potatos absorb salt as they cook, so salt after they are cooked)

In a large pot, brown hamburger and drain well. Add all other ingredients except cabbage (feel free to add any veggies you like). Cover with water and cook on med high until potatoes are almost done. Add cabbage. Continue to cook until all veggies are done. Salt to taste.
