LITTLE KNOWN FACTS:
1. Nick says the first time he ever played a video game
was when his parents were at their family's Jamestown, New
York Lounge when toddler Nick wandered off and his parents
found him in front of a pac-man machine. "I pulled up a
stool" Nick said, "There I was in my white diaper, sitting
on a stool, playing the game. That was where my love for
video games began."
2. He used to have a Scottish Terrier named Boo Boo, but
he died in an accident in 1996.
3. Nick is the prankster of the group and because of all
his jokes the other guys in the group decided they had to
get a little revenge. They threw Nick out of the dressing
room in front of a bunch of screaming girl fans. The only
problem was Nick was only in his underwear!
4. Nick is known as the practical joker of the group
5. His image of the group is the young, fresh-faced,
heartthrob
6. Because of the Backstreet Boys' growing success the Boys'
have won the hearts of many fans around the world who would
do anything for just a peek of the Boys in person. Because
of this Nick's dad had to build a fence around his hime to
keep Nick's fans at bay.
7. Even though Nick is now 6 foot tall, he admits to being
bullied at school for having time off for acting assignments
as Nick's first aspiration was to become an actor. Later he
had his own personal tutor on tour.
8. The name of his family's lounge in New York was the Yankee
Rebel Lounge.
9. The name of the street in which Nick lived in a country
home in Jamestown, NY was Webber Road.
10. His parents owned a Cadillac El Dorado and drived down
to Florida in it at the age of 5.
11. When Nick was younger he was called 'Charlie Brown'

14. After landing the part of Raoul in the 'Phantom of
the Opera'in fourth grade Nick kept up with his flare for
show-biz. He entered many talent shows and bashfully admits
to doing an Elvis impersonation. "Leg shake an' all,"
comments a smug Nick.
15. Nick's younger brother Aaron admits to starting show-biz
for the main idea of being closer to his brother. And perhaps
it worked because Aaron was invited to open for the Boys in
many concerts this summer. Nick along with his good pal Brian
helped the baby Carter by writing one of his songs and Nick
even sings the remix of 'Shake It.' Nick again shows up for
Aaron as the back-up vocals to 'Crush On You' which has landed
lil Aaron on many charts around the world.
16. Nick and his Backstreet buddy Brian also wrote "Ain't
That Cute" on Backstreet baby Aaron Carter's self-entitled cd.
Also writing the music for it, Nick includes his own name
in showing his big influence in little Aaron's life. The
third line expresses this idea by reading as such, " Nick
always told me just to follow my dreams" What a big bro!
17. He has once been quoted as saying that a fav celeb of
his that he would love to date Robyn. Awwww! What a cute
couple.Too bad he's mine. Heheheh. j/k . I wish.
18. Nick came from a whole family line of musical talent. Almost
everyone was involved in entertainment in one way or another.
19. In Nick's early years, he not only has an experience in voice
lessons but, because of his mother's concern of being an
"all-around" entertainer, she enrolled him in dancing lessons
also.
20. When his parents owned a bar right below their place of
residence, Nick's mother worried about the loud noise upsetting
Nick, feeling maybe it was unhealthy. However, oddly, the loud
music became a lullaby to the young Nicky. Even in his early
years he had an ear for music!
21. When Nick was young, he stood outside while his mother stood at
the sink washing dishes. She left the window open and soon
heard the beautiful voice of her soon singing wafting through
the air. She listened to every note, beautifully sung and when
he finished she had tears in her eyes. Somehow he had gotten
her parents' collection of records and had learned one of his
mother's favorite songs. "Bridge Over Troubled Water." Nick
can thank Simon and Garfunkel for the start of his career...or
at least a slight push. :)
