YO-YO DRINKING WATER

I have a cat
A lovable cat
Who sits and waits
Until I give in and give her water

She may scratch and bite
Or start a fight
But she always says she's sorry
And still begs for a cup of water

She sits up on her hind legs
Staring at me with her wide eyes

Although I'm sure she doesn't read books

But insists on a paper cup full

Filled to the brim with water

Some days the cup sits half full
On the floor
