Season 2

WHEN SHE WAS BAD

While Willow and Xander almost kiss, a vampire interrupts them and Buffy dusts him, announcing her return from LA. Over the summer, Giles, Willow and Xander buried the Master's bones and Buffy starts being mean to everyone. She tells Angel she's moved on, "to the living", she dances sexily with Xander in front of Willow and Angel. Then the Master bones go missing. Vampires are trying to resurrect him. Cordelia, Willow, Giles and Miss Calendar get kidnapped. Those nearest to the Master when he died are needed for the ritual. Buffy stops them from resurrecting the ritual, and saves her friends. She also crushes the Master bones with a sledgehammer, insuring he will never return.

SOME ASSEMBLY REQUIRED

Three girls are killed in a car crash and later their graves are found dug up, with some of their body parts missing. Turns out, that Daryl Epps has been brought back from the dead by his brother Chris and now Chris is trying to build his brother a female comapanion, with Cordy's head as the final touch. Of course, Buffy stops them and saves Cordelia. Also, Giles and Jenny go out on their first date to the football game in this one!

SCHOOL HARD  

This episode marks the first (and certainly not last) appearence of one of Buffy's soon to be arch enemies. Spike. And with him is Drusilla, his weak, insane girlfriend. Spike is a vicious vampire, much like Angel when he was bad. We learn that Angel sired them both and Spikes other name is William the Bloody, getting Spike from running railroad spikes through his vicitms bodies. Angel drove Dru insane, killed her family and then made her a vampire on the same day she was to take her holy vows. During parent-teacher night at Sunnydale High, Spike and his vampire buddies attack, 2 days before St. Vigeous, the night when vampires powers are at their height. Buffy rids of the vamps and Spike locks the Annointed One (or the Annoying One, according to Spike)in a cage, dusting him with the rising of the sun.

INCA MUMMY GIRL

This is Oz's first episode!! This episode is where The Willow and Oz saga begins. (Sadly, it does not revolve around them.) An ancient Incan Mummy has been awakened because the seal that keeps her trapped is broken. In order for her to keep living she has to kiss people to suck their life force out. Ampata (the Inca Mummy Girl)quickly falls in love with Xander and goes to the Culture Dance with him. Through out the episode, Ampata is referred to as "The Chosen One". Like Buffy, Ampata was Chosen to die to protect her people, much as Buffy has been chosen to fight vampires and keep the world safe. *During the dance, Oz notices Willow in her eskimo costume, asks "Who is that girl?" and falls in love at first sight!! Of course, Willow doesn't know yet.* Ampata tries to kiss Xander, but Buffy pulls her away and she dies.

REPTILE BOY

Giles is putting pressure on Buffy to train and slay, without a social life and she's certain she doesn't have any sort of relationship with Angel, so she goes to a frat party with Cordelia and a fratly guy named Tom. Turns out, the frat worships a giant snake that requires three sacrifices once every year. This year, Buffy, Cordy and another girl from another school, Callie are the sacrifices. And Tom is the leader. Buffy chops the snake in half, saving the day. And with some help from Willow, Giles decides not to push Buffy so hard and Angel tells her they can go out for coffee...sometime.

HALLOWEEN

Snyder ropes Buffy, Xander and Willow into taking little kids trick or treating, so the three buy their costumes from a new costume shop, Ethans Costumes. Earlier in the day, Buffy and Willow stole one of Giles' watchers diaries and Buffy longs to be like the 18th century girls Angel had dated back then. So, Buffy picks an 18th century maiden costume, Willow picks a ghost (later, Buffy makes her wear a Rocker Babe costume, but she puts the ghost over it) and Xander goes as a soldier. The owner of the costume shop, Ethan, is an old friend of Giles' and has cast a spell to make everyone who bought their costumes from his shop turn into their costumes. Xander turns into an actual solider, Willow a ghost, and Buffy a helpless 18th century girl. Giles eventually gets Ethan to stop the spell, just in time for Buffy to kick Spike's ass before he gets his teeth into her. *At the end, Willow walks by Oz's van in her Rocker Babe costume and Oz asks yet agian, "Who is that girl?"*

LIE TO ME

Billy "Ford" Fordham (Played by Roswell's Jason Behr)is Buffy's old crush from her old school in LA. He has come to Sunnydale, but he has a secret. He knows Buffy is the Slayer and has made a pact with Spike. Ford will give Spike the Slayer if Spike will make him and his friends vampires. Which to Ford is better then dying of cancer, which he has. Of course Buffy stops Spike and all is well with Sunnydale again...

THE DARK AGE

This episode deals with Giles' dark past. Ethan and Giles were college buddies and Giles was very rebellious in not becoming the watcher he was destined to become. Ethan, Giles and two other people were into magic and so one day called the demon Eyghon, killing one of their friends. Ethan is back again, causing problems of course. Ethan called Eyghon and Eyghon jumped into a girl named Deidre, then into a guy named Phillip, then into Miss Calendar and finally, at Willow's urging, they get Eyghon into Angel who already has a demon in him and Angel kills Eyghon.

WHAT'S MY LINE PT. 1

Everyone at Sunnydale High is involved in Career Week, except Buffy, who already knows her career will always be slaying vampires and demons. Xander is told that he will be good in the "growing feild of corrections" and Willow wasn't on the list. *A big computer company has been tracking her and one other student. Oz! They finally meet and his first word to her is, "Canape?"* Meanwhile, the Order of Taraka has been sent after Buffy and Spike is trying to find a cure for Dru's weakness, with a cross that he stole. The cross is a decoder thing and is needed to decode the transcript for Dru's cure. Also, a mysterious girl shows up claiming to be another Vampire Slayer...

WHAT'S MY LINE PT. 2

...Buffy and gang remember that way back in Prophecy Girl she did die and so another Slayer was called, since when one slayer dies the next is called. Her name is Kendra. More assasins attack Xander and Cordy, locking them in Buffy's basement. They're heated argument ends up in passionate kissing. Much to their dismay. Spike finds out the key ingredient to Dru's cure, is her sire. Angel. Angel is kidnapped, taken to the chruch where the ritual will take place. Buffy stops them and the church burns, but Spike and Dru get away, and Dru is stronger now. Spike is confined to a wheel chair. *Oz takes a bullet for Willow and when she tries to thank him, he avoids the subject since he "gets all red and has to bail" so he tells her that "All monkey's French."!*

TED

Buffy is dismayed to find out her mom has a new boyfriend, Ted. Ted is a computer salesman and quickly wins everyone but Buffy over. He woos Xander with cookies (Which everyone but Buffy ate) and Willow with free software to upgrade her computer. Buffy hates Ted from the start. And with good reason. Ted is a robot who has all his last four wives in his closet. Wives going back to 1957. Turns out there is a secret ingredient in the cookies which according to Willow, "is not love", but a drug resembling ecstasy, making the person or persons who eat them all compliant and mellow. Buffy evetually stops Ted, who had planned on adding Joyce to his closet.

BAD EGGS

The students of Sunnydale High are learning about the consequences of sex before marriage, so they have to do an egg-baby project. Xander hard boils his and Buffy's attacks her. Turns out that the eggs are baby Bezoars who latch onto the host and turn them into zombie-like people.(including Willow, Joyce, Giles and Cordy. Buffy killed hers when it attacked her and Xander's was alread dead since he boiled it) And the arrival of two cowboy vampires, Lyle and Tector Gorch, who were physco before they vamped-out doesn't help Buffy's situation. She kills one of the brothers and kills the mother Bezoar. The other Gorch brother leaves Sunnydale afraid Buffy will kill him too.

SURPRISE AKA: The Buffy two night event

Buffy's 17th birthday is coming up and she has a dream that Drusilla is alive. When her dream starts manifesting, her and Angel go to check out the factory. Sure enough Dru is alive. Meanwhile, the gang has planned a surprise b-day party for her. *Oz asks Willow out, but it gets turned around so that she asks him to Buffy's party, where he becomes an offical slayerette* At the party a box is found, and an arm jumps out of it, and attacks Buffy. Turns out it is a part of The Judge, a demon that no "weapon forged" can kill. His parts have been spread all over the world and Spike and Dru are trying to put him back together. The Judge burns humans from the inside out. It is decided that Angel will leave. At the docks he gives Buffy a claddagh ring and they are attacked by vampires. They get wet and go to Angel's place where he tells her that he loves her and they make love for the first time...

INNOCENCE

...Buffy wakes up the next morning to find Angel gone. It is soon discovered that Angel has expierenced one moment of true happiness and his soul has been taken away. He's evil Angelus again. Buffy is heartbroken, of course. Angel joins Spike and Dru in assmebling The Judge, tries to kill Willow and turns all stalker boy on Buffy. Back at the SHS library, Xander, Cordy and Willow come up with a plan to use a rocket launcher to kill the Judge. *Oz tells Willow he thinks about kissing her, "Willow Kissage"* The Judge eventually gets blown to bits, but Angel is still evil. We find out that Miss Calendar is really Janna of the Kalderash people, who has been sent to keep Angel and Buffy apart. Buffy and Giles lose their trust in her.

PHASES

*A Willow and Oz episode!!*

This episode opens with Willow and Oz talking about the movie they saw the night before. Later, Willow tells Buffy, "I want smoochies!" because she thinks her and Oz "seem to be in some sort of holding pattern, only with out the holding, or...anything else." turns out that Oz has a secret. He's a werewolf. But even he doesn't know until he wakes up in the forest with out a stitch on. By the end of the episode, Oz and Willow decide to keep the relationship going! And they share they're first kiss, which Willow started! "A werewolf in love." -Oz

BEWITCHED, BOTHERED AND BEWILDERED

Cordelia breaks up with Xander at the Bronze on Valentines Day, so Xander recruits Amy Madison (from "The Witch") to cast a love spell so Cordy will want Xander back so he can break her heart. But the spell goes VERY wrong, and every female in Sunnydale, including, Buffy, Willow and Joyce, fall in love with Xander, except for Cordy. *Oz punches Xander becuase he thought Xander hurt Willow, since he was on the phone all night listening to her cry over Xander* Buffy gets turned into a rat and eventually the spell is broken, Cordy and Xander get back together and Buffy is de-ratted.

PASSION

This is a very serious and sad episode. In it, Jenny is trying to gain Giles and Buffy's trust back. She tells Giles she loves him and decides to restore Angels soul for Buffy. Jenny saves the spell to a disk and just as she's printing it, Angel shows up and smashes the Orb of Thessulah (which holds his soul)and the computer and printer. The disk accidentally falls down between the desk, and Angel chases Jenny around the school, only to snap her neck. Knowing Giles is in love with her, Angel puts Jenny in his bed and lights candles and puts rose pettles everywhere and makes him think she has something romanic planned. Giles finds her in his bed, dead. Buffy and the gang are deveasted, but none more then Giles. He is so heartbroken that he goes to the factory, and burns it down, hoping to kill Angel. But Angel gets out, unharmed.

KILLED BY DEATH

Buffy gets sick and stays at the hospital for awhile. While she's there, she dreams about a boy and a scarey looking creature. Turns out the boy is a child in the childrens ward and the creature is Der Kindestod, a demon who kills children. Only children with fevers can see him, so Buffy talks Willow into giving her some of the fever so she can fight it. Of course, she does and the day is saved.

I ONLY HAVE EYES FOR YOU

Buffy and the gang deal with a ghost in this episode. Way back in 1955, a teacher Miss Newman and her student, James, had an affair. They got into an arguement and James shot Miss Newman, then killed himself. And right before the Sadie Hawkins Dance. Back in Sunnydale, the ghosts of James and Miss Newman are living out the scene by possessing people. At the end, James possess Buffy and Miss Newman possess Angel, living out the scene one last time.

GO FISH

The Sunnydale High swim team has gone to the fishes. Literally. They've won a few meets  and 2 of the members turn up killed. Angel spits out another of the members blood. Suspicous that somethings up, Xander joins the swim team and goes undercover. Turns out they were taking something like steroids, only it was more then steroids and it turns them into fish. At the end, they turn into fish and eat their coach, then head off into the ocean.

BECOMING PT. 1

This is where the Buffy/Angel plot thickens. Alot. Angel, Spike and Drusilla have gotten ahold of a stone statue. Acathla. A demon who will "bring forth Armeggdon" once the vortex is opened, once the sword that is stuck in him is removed. Buffy and Willow come across the disk with Angels cure on it. When Angel can't figure out how to open Acathla, Dru and a few other vamps attack the library, kidnapping Giles (for the info)breaking Xanders arm, rendering Willow unconscience, and killing Kendra. Buffy gets to the library too late, and the cops find her by Kendra's body...

BECOMING PT. 2

...Buffy ditches the cops and later goes to the hospital, where Willow lay unconscience. *Xander tells her he loves her, but when she wakes, she calls for Oz.* Buffy makes an alliance with Spike. Buffy will stop/kill Angel and Spike will get Dru back (from Angel) and leave town. It is decided that Willow will try the spell and that Xander will tell Buffy to stall and keep Angel from opening Acathla. But he tells her to kick his ass. Angel opens Acathla, Willow restores Angel's soul, and Buffy is forced to kill Angel and send him to hell. (Only his blood can close Acathla) Spike leaves sunnydale with Dru and Buffy runs away.
