Where are they now?
Now Showing: the adventures of Charisse Boyd, Cori
Skall, Hunter Via, and Denton Heaney. We want to find out what all
you guys are up to, so, please, if you're out there, e-mail ctv@cofc.edu
once in a while.
Charisse Boyd was the lead anchor for CTV for almost her entire
collegiate career...1997 to 2000.
Charisse says: "I work as the main Production Coordinator for Arnold
Shapiro Productions, overseeing currently 7
different shows.... My job basically consists of booking all travel
and crews around the country and here locally, even though most everything
we shoot is outside of LA. I book and secure locations, get permits - secure
equipment. I am also in
charge of all of our Production Assistants." cboyd@aspla.com
Hunter Via and Cori Skall graduated in 1999 after an illustrious
career both on- and off-camera at CTV. They produced an entertainment segment
called "Mise-en-Scene" together and later served as co-News Directors.
Hunter just got married, and tells us: "I'm currently in L.A. working
at Fox Family World Wide. I've just recieved all my union days and am looking
for Assistant Editing jobs now. Things are going pretty well." hmvia@yahoo.com
Cori, meanwhile, is about as far from L.A. as you can get: Maine. She
writes: "I am a full-time disc-jockey at WBZN, a Top 40 radio station (http://www.WBZN-FM.com)
It's a blast-- I am also reporting part-time for an affiliated station
and waiting for an independant film that I was involved in last summer
to come out (it is called "In the Bedroom" and it is NOT a porno!) I made
the switch to radio after working as an editor/assignment editor/producer
for an NBC affiliate in Bangor." xpiegirl@aol.com
Denton Heaney served CTV first as a sports producer and then
as General Manager. He graduated in May 2000 and moved to Boston to continue
working on his screenplay. He is currently focused on enjoying life to
its fullest and filling out apps for graduate programs in film, while maintaining
a day job at an investment firm. denton78@hotmail.com
Carolyn Park began working for CTV as a freshman in the fall of 98. She served as producer the following year and technical director the year after that, then graduated in May 2001. She also created the website and a staff manual, and now lives in LA, working in television consulting for SmithGeiger.
Her personal website is Wigorama and she would love to hear from current and former CTV staffers. carolyn@smithgeiger.com
