Cracker's Sausage
6 lbs. ground beef or
3 lbs. ground beef and 3 lbs. ground deer
2 cups cold water
6 tablespoons Morton'l Tender Quick
4 tablespoons Liquid Smoke
3 teaspoons garlic salt
2 teaspoons onion powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons mustard seed
2 tablespoons red pepper

Mix all ingredients thoroughly.
Refrigerate 24 hours. Form into
1-2 lb. loaves. Wrap in foil and
punch in several holes. Bake at
300 degrees for 3 hours.
Be sure to place a pan for drippings
under the loaves in the oven.
