Best Ever Brownies
1/2 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
3 tablespoons cocoa
2 eggs
1/2 cup flour + 1 tablespoon
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 cup chopped nuts
Cream shortening and sugar. Mix
in cocoa. Add eggs, one at a time,
beat well. Add vanilla and beat
well. Sift flour and salt, mix with
nuts. Add to wet ingredients and
mix well. Pour into a greased 9x13x2
inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for
30 minutes.
