Chocolate-Cherry Magic Cookie Bars

25 chocolate sandwich cookies,
finely crushed
1/4 cup margarine or butter
1 (14-oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
2 cups white or semisweet chocolate chips
1 (10-oz.) jar maraschino cherries,
well drained and halved
1 cup coconut
1/2 cup nuts, chopped

Mix crushed cookies and margarine; press onto
bottom of a lightly greased 13x9 pan. Pour
sweetened condensed milk evenly over crust.
Layer chocolate chips, cherries, coconut and nuts
over crust; press firmly.
Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until golden
and set. Cool completely. Cut into bars.
