Mini Tortes
1 cup butter
3 oz. creamed cheese
1 1/2 cups sifted flour
2 large eggs
2 cups brown sugar, packed
3 tablespoons melted butter
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 cup diced dated
1/2 cup chopped pecans

Cream butter and creamed cheese until
smooth. Blend in flour, then chill. Press
into a greased 9x13x2 pan. Beat eggs, sugar,
melted butter, vanilla and salt together.
Place dates on crust evenly. Pour on egg
mixture. Sprinkle on nuts. Bake at 350
degrees for 15 minutes, then 250 degrees for 15
minutes.
Can use mini muffin tins.
