Sophie's Cookies

Mix together:
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup oleo

Add:
1 large egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Sift 3 times:
2 1/2 cup flour
Pinch salt

Mix all ingredients, let stand 1/2 hour.
Add 1/2 cup finely chopped nuts. Roll
into balls, then press out flat on cookie
sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 15-20
minutes.
Frosting:
2 tablespoons soft oleo
1 cup powdered sugar
A little milk
Food coloring (optional)
