Spanish Peanut Cookies
1 cup butter or oleo
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup light brown sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 cups rolled oats
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 lb. spanish peanuts

Cream butter and sugars. Add beaten
eggs and vanilla. Add flour. Add oatmeal
and nuts. Mix well after each addition with
spoon.
Let stand one hour. Drop by teaspoon on
greased cookie sheet. Press down with fork
dipped in cold water. Bake at 350 degrees,
10 - 12 minutes.
