Toll House Cookies

1 cup + 2 tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter, softened
6 tablespoons sugar
6 tablespoons brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg
6 oz. (1 cup) chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a
small bowl combine flour, soda and
salt, set aside. In a large bowl com-
bine butter, sugars and vanilla. Beat
until creamy. Beat in egg. Gradually
add flour mixture. Stir in chips. Bake
for 8-11 minutes.
