Aunt Daisy's Coffee Cake
1/2 lb. butter, softened
1 cup sugar
3 eggs
2 2/3 cups cake flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
3 teaspoons baking powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/2 pint sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla

Sift flour, sugar, soda, baking powder
and salt into a large bowl. Add butter
and sour cream. Beat 2 minutes. Add
eggs and vanilla. Beat 2 minutes. Pour
1/2 of batter into a greased 9x13x2 pan.
Mix 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 2 tablespoons
sugar and 1/2 cup ground nuts. Sprinkle
1/2 of mixture on batter and pour on
remaining batter. Sprinkle on remaining
cinnamon mixture.
Bake at 350 degrees, 45 minutes or until
a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
* Can double cinnamon mixture.
