Golden Pound Cake
1 cup butter
3 oz. creamed cheese
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cup sugar
5 eggs
2 cups sifted flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt

Beat butter, creamed cheese, and
vanilla until fluffy. Gradually add
sugar until smooth. Add eggs, one at
a time. Beat thoroughly each time.
Sift together dry ingredients. Add,
in thirds, to creamed mixture, beat-
ing until smooth after each third.
Turn into a greased and floured loaf
pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 70
minutes.
