Beef Stew

1-1 1/2 lbs. stew meat or venison
2 tablespoons oil
1/4-1/2 cup flour
6 cups hot water
1 tablespoon worchestershire sauce
4-6 beef boullion cubes
4-6 potatoes, peeled and quartered
2 onions, quartered
3 carrots, peeled , in thirds
1 teaspoon instant coffee

Brown meat in oil. Remove from heat.
Add enough flour to form a thick paste.
Stir in water and Worcestershire sauce,
and instant coffee. Add boullion cubes.
Let simmer 2 hours, covered. Add
vegetables and simmer 1 hour, uncovered.
Serve with dumplings or biscuits.
