Is it more than coincidence when several police offiers die in the presence of a young girl? Or is a more sinister force at work? Mulder and Scully probe the mysterious deaths of police detectives in Buffalo, NY, who may be hiding a deadly secret. Mulder believes young Michelle may be the reincarnation of a murdered homicide detective, seeking revenge. A psychiatrist, an origami animal and a hypnotic regression session offer clues that lead the team to a supernatural showdown.
