The Durham Bulls are pleased to announce the formation of the Calgary Kings, which will serve
as the minor league affiliate for the defending champions. The team will provide the fans in
Calgary a great mix of talent, including outfielder Vernon Wells, who is the only player in
baseball history to be named the number one prospect in every league he has played in. Joining
Wells in the outfield will be Corey Patterson of the Chicago Cubs and Mike Restovich of the
Twins. Wells, Patterson and Restovich will likely be spending many a day patrolling the outfield
grass for the Bulls in the near future.
In addition to the star studded outfield, The Kings will feature the best arms in the organization,
including the highly touted Kip Wells of the Chicago White Sox. All in all, the Calgary Kings
look to repeat the success of the parent club and win the minor league championship.
KINGS COACHING STAFF NAMED
The Calgary Kings announced today that self-proclaimed impact players of ECW: Justin Credible and "Mr. Calgary, Alberta
Canada" himself, Lance Storm will serve as the team's managers during their time off from
the mad house of extreme in South Philly. Any player slacking off or not giving 110% at all times
can expect a swift cane to the head from Justin Credible.
