Hometown: Langly, British Columbia
Horse: Seafox, Leslie Reid's 19 year old 17hh Grand Prix Dutch Warmblood stallion and Silver Sonata (Shadow), my 22 year old 14.3hh Prix St. Georges Polish Arabian gelding
Training & Competing Level: Competed 1999 season FEI Junior, 2000 season Young Riders with Shadow. Will compete at YR/PSG in 2001 and in BC YR Team selection trials. Trainer: Monique Fraser, Joseph Claude-Pauze & Albrecht Heidemann :) Comments: I plan to ride in the BC YR Team Trials in 2001/2002 with my little Arab. Seafox is my "teacher" for learning all the upper level movements which helps me to perform them with Shadow. My future goals include the FEI Young Horse Championships with my WB filly Tia, and to compete internationally at Grand Prix level.

Horse: Excalibur, known as Mario, a 14 year old Hannoverian/TB cross gelding.
Training & competing level: Brittany and Excalibur showed Basic 3 this last summer and she hopes to do Basic 4 and Medium 1 next year while she waits to be eligable for FEI Junior.
Trainer: Kathryn Fraser Comments: Brittany has been showing dressage since she was 8 years old. She's looking forward to being able to show FEI Junior is the future.

Name: Megan Lane
Birthdate: April 5th, 1991
Hometown: Collingwood, Quebec
Horses: Cha Cha Cha (or Raptor), a 9 year old 14.2h Chestnut Arabian Gelding.
Training & competing level: Last year competed at the Basic 3/4 level on a pony called Mademoiselle. This year is competing on a green pony called Cha Cha Cha in the Basic 1/2.
Trainer: Lots of help from some great trainers such as Jaki Beck, Jacqueline Brooks, Nancy MacLauchlin and Linda Hasmatali and spends a lot of time getting yelled at by her mom!!
Comments: Megan has ridden since she was three and started competing in dressage at the age of 7 when she won the Caledon Cadora Basic 1 and Basic 2 Junior Championship on her pony The Great Gazoo. The following year, Megan rode her pony Mademoiselle in Trillium Basic 3/4 where she had the highest points in the Caledon Cadora Junior Category and placed second in Ontario for Basic 3 and 5th in Ontario for Basic 4. At the same time, Megan competed Cha Cha Cha and Mademoiselle in the National level in Basic 1 and 2. Megan is the youngest competitor in all her shows and usually has the smallest mounts.

Name: Francesca Sirsly (franny142@hotmail.com)
Age: 18
Hometown: Montreal, Quebec
Horses: Nifty, a 25 year old 15hh Morgan mare. Together, they had a very successful season at the Basic 1/2 level a few years ago. This past season, they showed at the medium level, winning all of their classes. Nifty is now retired. Dancing Queen (Dancer) is a 6 year old Oldenburg mare with more potential. Francesca hopes to show her at the Young Riders level in 2001. In the picture is her on Dancer in their first show together.
Training & competing level: Francesca and Dancing Queen showed at the Basic Level last year.
Trainer: Mostly on her own but with help from Sandra Laprise and occasional training sessions with Sue Rothgeb.
Comments: Francesca feels that her young prospect, Dancer has the potential to go to Grand Prix. She's a full time university student, who is working on an AgriculturalEconomics major (B. Sc.) at Mcgill.
