Emery J Adams

Officer Adams was appointed to the Perry Township Police Department in Ohio on June 4, 1981 and transferred to the Canton Police Department on April 19, 1982.  His assignments have included working in the Patrol Division.  He was appointed as a D.A.R.E. Officer in October 1995.

Officer Adams Police Department citations include:  Medal of Valor and Safe Driving Medal.

Jim Lile

Officer Lile was appointed to the Canton Police Department on February 21, 1994.  His assignments have included working in the Patrol Division and the Community Policing Division assigned to Bicycle Patrol.  He was appointed to the D.A.R.E. Program on January 1, 2000.

Officer Lile enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, bike riding, hiking, and volunteering at his church.

Officer Lile's personal message to students is:  If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears the beat of a different drummer.  Let him step to the music which he hears, however measured or far away.

Reagan L McDonald

Officer McDonald was appointed to the Canton Police Department in May 1984.  His assignments have included working in the Patrol Division and Stark County Metropolitan Narcotics Unit.  He was appointed as a D.A.R.E. Officer in 1998.

Officer McDonald's Police Department citations include:  Medal of Valor, Stolen vehicle with 10 apprehensions, Safe Driving Medal, and 27 months attendance.

Officer McDonald loves basketball, football, cooking, and backgammon.  One of his favorite quotes is: The objective is to live a long, happy, and rewarding life.  Follow your true passion.  Put the negative where it's meant to be.  Learn to love.  Learn to respect.  Be proud.

Steven E Silver

Officer Silver was appointed to the Canton Police Department on May 11, 1985.  His assignments have included working in the Dispatch Center, Patrol Division, and the Jail.  He was appointed to the D.A.R.E. Program in January 1989.

Officer Silver's Police Department citations include:  27 months attendance medal, Medal of Valor, 1998 Ohio D.A.R.E. Officer of the year.

Officer Silver loves working with children, teaching others of all ages, working out, animals, riding motorcycles, and believes strongly in the Lord.  One of his favorite quotes is:  "Live NOW, Always make NOW the most precious time, because NOW will never come again.
