Are some scratching posts better than others?
When it comes to cardboard scratchers, the better one to get is the double-wide one. You can pick that up at : Trader Joe’s Market or Kmart. They love to use it when you sprinkle catnip on it! A good brand to use is: Cosmic Catnip.
These types of scratchers are wonderful too. They come in sisal rope or carpet. Most people get the sisal rope type. Make sure your cat can reach them to scratch at their HIGHEST stretch, otherwise they may not use them. A great place to get these is at:
