Coffee Ground Bears(Submitted by Linda (lindafh)
Cut teddy bear shapes out of thick card stock. The kids can "paint"
their bears with watered down paste. Then sprinkle their bears with
coffee grounds!
Make Brown Bear Masks(Submitted by Linda (lindafh)
Cut eye holes in a large paper plate. Let the kids paint with brown
tempera paint and allow to dry. From brown construction paper cut
out ear shapes and a nose. Staple or glue ears in place. Glue
nose in place. Help them draw the mouth on with black felt marker.
Attach a string or thin elastic to hold the mask in place.
Bubble Fun (Submitted by Kim (luv2selldots)
Take a cookie sheet, fill with bubble solution, add brown tempera paint
(powder works best) then take a straw and blow LOTS & LOTS of
bubbles!! Take white paper and put on top of bubbles and gently pop them
with the paper. You will get a wonderful mosaic print on the paper!
You can also do orange and yellow then cut into leaf shapes for a fall
theme.
