Door Messages for Dads
You will need a 4.5" X 12" sheet of construction
paper (or cardstock) for each child; you can do the next step ahead of
time for younger children - have them fold their paper lengthwise in half.
Cut a half circle about three inches from the top. Unfold the paper
and make a diagonal cut ending at the circular cutout. Decorate the
door hangers as desired with paper scraps, glitter, markers, etc.

Hush Little Baby
Hush little baby, don't say a word,
Daddy's gonna buy you a mocking bird;
If that mocking bird don't sing,
Daddy's gonna buy you a diamond ring;
If that diamond ring is brass,
Daddy's gonna buy you a lookin' glass;
If that looking glass gets broke,
Daddy's gonna buy you a billy goat;
If that billy goat don't pull,
Daddy's gonna buy you a cart and bull;
If that cart and bull turn over,
Daddy's gonna buy you a dog named Rover;
If that dog named Rover don't bark,
Daddy's gonna buy you a horse and cart;
If that horse and cart break down,
You'll still be the sweetest little baby in town.
