Pom Pom Bees
Glue a black pom pom in between two yellow ones. Add googly eyes and felt wings. These are TOO CUTE! If the children want to add a stinger (mine did) use a small triangle of felt to glue onto the back.

Science Activity
Bone Experiment. Disinfect bones and put in a jar with vinegar. Observe what happens daily over a period of a week. (The bones will become increasingly soft and pliable as the vinegar robs the bone of it's calcium compounds)

Sensory Activity
Waterplay. Show the children how hand egg beaters are used to make scrambled eggs (which you can have for morning snack). Then put plastic beaters in the water table with soap so that the children can beat up some fun of their own!

Songs
I Put a Peanut on the Track

I put a peanut on the track
My heart was all a flutter
Around the bend came the nine-fifteen
And whoosh
Peanut Butter!

The Meat we Eat
Sung to "Row, Row, Row Your Boat"

Cows and pigs and sheep make up
The mammals that we eat.
Spare ribs, steak, or hamburgers,
We call this cooked food "meat".

"Poultry" refers to birds we eat,
Like chicken, duck, and turkey.
"Seafood" is fish and other things
That swim in water murky.
