Animaniacs Game By Konami Review by Josh Nickerson Opening Snide Remarks: Yakko, Wakko and Dot return in a game that isn't like the awful SNES version, but rather the more successful Genesis version. Gameplay: Yakko, Wakko and Dot have to move through four levels of traps and puzzles to complete their collection of movie props to sell in their movie store. Along the way, they can use hammers and bombs to knock away enemies. Graphics: Plug this baby into your Super GameBoy and you are in for a treat. Konami does an even better job on SGB programming than Nintendo! There are way more colors than the standard four on the screen, and some ingenous game design is responsible for it. The graphics also work for the normal GameBoy. Sound: Good sound on GameBoy, even better on Super GameBoy! Music: I like the cool Animaniacs theme on the title screen, and the other tunes are catchy as well. Play Control: Yakko wields a paddle ball, Wakko uses a mallet, and Dot charms enemies with kisses. The big problem here is that the characters move slower than snails, so this is definatly not for the action set. Final Analysis: Animaniacs is geared more to younger players, but grown up kids will enjoy the brain resting puzzles and bosses. Score Gameplay: **** Graphics: ***** Sound: ***** Music: ***** Play Control: ***** Total: 23 out of 25 Final Score: 92% Currently Known Codes: None
