Baseball Game by Nintendo Reviewed by Robby Cox koi@magicnet.net Size: 512 Kilobits Save: None Released: 1989 Works with: all Gameboy versions Opening Snide Remarks: Will Baseball for the Gameboy be any fun? The graphics look pretty good, but how does it play. Gameplay: If you know how to play baseball then you know how to play Baseball. The batting interface is excellent. The pitching is excellent. The fielding sucks. Graphics: The graphics are a mixed bag. The pitching/batting screens look great. The fielding screens suck. The players are very small, and are ugly. Sound: The sound effects in this game are pretty good. They sound very similar to actual baseball sounds. Music: This game has pretty good music. The music doesn't sound totally out of place either. Play Control: The pitching/batting screens play pretty well. When the ball is hit, this game falls apart. The players move too slowly and move as a group. This sucks. Final Analysis: This is a very bad baseball game. I would steer clear of this game at all costs.
