Brain Drain Game by Acclaim Reviewed by Robby Cox koi@magicnet.net Size: 4 Megabits Save: Password Released: 1998 Works with: all Game Boy models Opening Snide Remarks: A puzzle game that's not like Tetris. I'll give it a try. Gameplay: Brain Drain is an excellent puzzler. You move a square cursor around the game board trying to match tiles on the board to the solution. The boards are fairly easy at first, but after a while it gets very tough. Graphics: Brain Drain has excellent graphics for a puzzler. The pieces that you are trying to match up are great, but the cursor is little more than a square, though. Sound: Brain Drain has pretty good sound effects, with the usual GameBoy blips and bleeps. Music: Brain Drain has great music, but it isn't very loud on Gameboy Color. Play Control: Excellent control that is also very simple. The joypad moves the cursor around, and the "A" button switches the tiles clockwise, while the "B" button switches the tiles counter clockwise. The control is somewhat similar to Tetris Attack. Final Analysis: Possibly the best puzzler since Tetris Attack.
