Beavis and Butthead Game by GT Reviewed by Adrock gbcam@hotmail.com Size: 2 megabits Save: Password Released: 1998 Works with: Any Game Boy (it's not GBC enhanced!) **************************************************************************** Opening Snide Remarks: These boys are ready for another video gaming mishap, this time on Game Boy Color. **************************************************************************** Gameplay Descripion: An OK game for fans of the show. There are overhead levels and platform levels to play. To beat the levels, there are some simple tasks that you must complete, like getting a hall pass out of someone's locker. The main story is that Beavis and Butthead want to be in Todd's gang. They figure that if they bust Todd out of jail, he might let them join. There are 9-10 levels. Levels include Burger World, School, a Karate class, and a sewer, among others. You play as Beavis in the first couple of levels, then you play as Butthead in the last couple. Liked: OK gameplay, not just a platformer. Hated: No color for a new game! **************************************************************************** Graphics Description: Lots of snapshots from the show, made into scenes from the game, with text. Beavis and Butthead look OK during gameplay, but the stages could be less predictable looking. Liked: Lots of shots from the show. Hated: Some visuals get awkward. **************************************************************************** Sound/Music Description: The music isn't very good quality. The theme song doesn't sound too much like the show. Liked: Some OK songs. Hated: This area needs work. **************************************************************************** Play Control/Game Design: Hit detection is not the best it could be, but suitable. Liked: For the most part, good control. Hated: Placement of moves is crucial. **************************************************************************** Improve: Color! Better music. RIYL: The show, the console versions. **************************************************************************** Final Words: If you like the show it is an OK buy, non-fans or disapprovers may apply. The game is rated everyone, there's no major swearing. **************************************************************************** Score Gameplay: *** Graphics: *** Sound/Music: ** Play Control/Game Design: ** Personal Opinion: *** Total: 13 Final Score: %52 **************************************************************************** Currently Known Codes: None.
