Dr. Mario Game by Nintendo Reviewed by Robby Cox koi@magicnet.net Size: 512 Kilobits Save: None Released: 1990 Works with: all Gameboy versions Opening Snide Remarks: Dr. Mario looks like a strange puzzle game. I will give it a try. Gameplay: Dr. Mario is a great game. It plays kind of like a strange version of Tetris Attack or Kirby's Star Stacker. You have to clear the screen of viruses by piling like colored pills on the viruses. Graphics: The graphics are excellent in Dr. Mario. The viruses are rather childish looking but do look nice. The pills look like pills. The graphics are not too complicated though. Sound: The sound in the is game is pretty good but sounds like a ton of other videogames that you have played. Music: The music in this game is great. It is very catchy and sort of sounds like a commercial jingle. Play Control: This game controls well and is very easy to play. The controls are the standard puzzle-fare. The joypad moves the pills and the "A"and "B" buttons rotate the pills. Final Analysis: This is the best puzzle game on the Gameboy in my opinion. Yes, it is even better than Tetris. Score Gameplay: ***** Graphics: **** Sound: **** Music: **** Play Control: ***** Total: 22 out of 25 Final Score: 88 % Currently Known Codes: None
