Jeopardy! Game by GameTek Reviewed by Adrock gbcam@hotmail.com Size: 1 megabit Save: None Released: 1990 Works with: Any Game Boy **************************************************************************** Opening Snide Remarks: There is a ghost in my house. His name is Alex, and he walks around in the hallway, going "doo-dee-doo-doo-doo-dee-doo, doo-dee-doo- dee dop! dee-doo-dee-doo-dee-doo-dee-doo-doo-doo-dee-doo, doo-doo-doo-doo-doo -doo-doo." Oh dear. **************************************************************************** Gameplay Descripion: I found this game plays really slow. It doesn't have the pace of the show. I'm a real big fan of it, too. But there are a lot of cool varieties of answers, and be they a decade old, they are pretty timely. I am also a kid, so this game's answers may be aimed at a more mature audience. Liked: Actually a nice all around game. Fun to play. Hated: Slow. Kids may not enjoy it as much as adults. And, as all game shows go, it gets old after a little while. **************************************************************************** Graphics Description: Uh oh. No Alex. A generic host. These guys don't look like your usual contestants either. OK, so graphics aren't a strongpoint. But the layout is clear and visible. Liked: Clear and visible to see. Hated: Simple graphics and no Alex. **************************************************************************** Sound/Music Description: Simple songs and sounds. A quick little number when you win, and the theme song. Beep Beep. Liked: Theme song. Hated: They keep it simple, but what do you expect? **************************************************************************** Play Control/Game Design: Your cursor seems to slip an awful lot! Liked: Simple to beep in for your question, just press any button. Hated: Slippery cursor. **************************************************************************** Improve: More options for play. More detail from the show. They should make a game pak with a whole bunch of game shows on it, if you want to know what I think. RIYL: Game Shows, trivia. **************************************************************************** Final Words: I've never played the platinum edition, but I think this one pretty much does the job. Play them both and see what you think. **************************************************************************** Score Gameplay: **** Graphics: *** Sound/Music: *** Play Control/Game Design: *** Personal Opinion: **** Total: 17 out of 25 Final Score: %68 **************************************************************************** Currently Known Codes: None.
