Kirby's Pinball Land Game by Nintendo/Hal Laboratory Reviewed by The Avardancer Size:2 Megabits Save: Battery, 1 slot Released: 1993 Works with: Any version of Gameboy Opening Snide Remarks: It's Kirby! It's Pinball! Huh?! Well, the award for most unusual hero goes to Kirby. You see, he's after King Dedede through a giant Pinball Machine security system. It ain't Sonic Spinball. Gameplay section: It's pinball with bosses, hidden bonuses, cute creatures, and wicked tricks, traps, and other things. It's fun; but only if you like Pinball. Lucky for Nintendo, I dig pinball. It's fun and has some cool parts like Soccer with a Squid, or the slot machine. Those are cool. There's also a save option; but it's silly and temporary. I never use it. The point of the game is to get points. The ending loops you back into the machine. The last boss is hard. King Dedede has never been tougher. This is a cool game. I like this game. It was worth the $20 I paid for it. Graphics: It looks better then Revenge of the Gator and the bosses look as cool as evil cute things can be. The machine can also be tilted. It's cool. Sound: It sounds like pinball. Except for some of the effects. "Squish? Music: Happy, evil, Kirby music. I'll turn it up, put on some yellow PJs, and I could be a Teletubbie.... Play Control: It's practical, easy to figure out and use. Did I mention that you can tilt the machine? Final Analysis: There's enough to keep Pinball Fans happy for days; but if you don't dig Pinball; then you're out of luck here.
