Kirby's Star Stacker by Nintendo/Hal Labs Reviewed by Josh Nickerson E-Mail: joshnickerson@hotmail.com Opening Snide Remarks: Kirby is back in yet another puzzle game along the lines of Tetris and Dr. Mario. Gameplay section: The gameplay is simple. Match two of the same character blocks (Rick, Kine, and Coo) with a Star sandwiched in the middle and you makethe star disappear. The first rounds are very easy, but as you get into the Very Hard and Super Hard levels, it becomes very addictive. You'll also find Bombs and garbage blocks as well. Graphics: The graphics are very simple, and mostly holdovers from every other Kirby GameBoy adventure. The blocks are easy to tell apart, though it can get confusing when the entire screen is filled. The SGB colors are very well done.Sound: Same as the graphics, you've heard them all before, and it's better on Super GameBoy. Music: The music is pretty well done, though not memorable. Play Control: As with most puzzle games, it is easy to move and place the pieces. Final Analysis: Kirby's Star Stacker is a great puzzler, though it may be a tad easy for hardcore gamers. But for Kirby fans who want a quickplay be sure to pick up this pak. Score Gameplay: ***** Graphics: **** Sound: *** Music: **** Play Control: ***** Final Score: 84% Currently Known Codes:None
