Kirby's Dreamland Game by hal laboratory Reviewed by Jesse Sevoian jessehere@yahoo.com Size: 1 megabit Save: none Released: 1992 Works with: game boy, game boy pocket, game boy color, super gameboy Opening Snide Remarks: Kirby, the big pink walking flying eating cloudlike living vaccume cleaner (phew!) is back, and on game boy! Gameplay: Fun, fun, fun. I love eating bad guys that are 5 times my size. Great fun even when you paly it over (it has to be because the game has no save feature). I wish I could save the game, but other than that, I couldn't stop playing. Graphics: you know, kirbyish. The backrounds are pretty cool, and kirby keeps his cartoony appearence. There is a lot of funny looking enemies and cool things like jumping on a star to get shot to the next level are always happening. The game boy color graphics are soooooo cool. Kirby is pink, of course, and the background colors are great. Sound: Not that much, but okay. I like hearing kirby suck air and suddenly gulp a bad guy. (slurrrrrrriiiiiii...wump!) Music: happy, smily face music. :) Not at all anoying. Catchy. Play Control: Smooth, darn good. Kirby always goes where you want him to. Final Analysis: This is a cool, not too expensive game. A must for color game boy owners. Score Gameplay:5 Graphics:4 Sound:2 Music:4 Play Control:5 Total: 20 Final Score: 80% Currently Known Codes: at startup screen, hold down, select, and b. This brings up a screen to alter amount of lives, etc. Also cool sound and music test. At startup, hold up, select, and a for a different, extra-hard game.
