Mickey's Dangerous Chase Game by Capcom Reviewed by The Avardancer Size: 1 HUGE Megabit Save: None. Released: 1990 Works with: Any version of Gameboy. Opening Snide Remarks: Look! It's Mickey Mouse! It's by Capcom! Actually, this IS reason to get excited. Capcom made "Mousecapades" for the NES and that was cool. WOAH! this game is 1 megabit! That would make it one of the bigger games of it's time. I wonder how it plays? Gameplay section: Picture Super Mario Bros USA. (Super Mario Bros 2 in the USA.) You lift up blocks and toss them at creatures; sometimes you have to ride vehicles like Boats, Ballons, and Birds. All in a great quest to get Minnie's Present back! Did I mention that you play as Mickey; but when you feel pretty, and witty, and HEY! You can choose Minnie. Talk about your universial appeal here. Well, you must survive a bunch of levels. It's quite fun actually. Find the hidden crystal balls to get an extra life after each level. It's interesting. Goofy gives you hints before each level. Graphics: Mickey and Minne look like Mickey and Minnie. Some of the animation os questionable. You can see minnie's panties when she loses a life. (EEEK! Let's boycott Disney! They showed a cartoon characters underwear! What next? Oh that's horrible! I'll go write Disney a nasty letter then resume playing "Tomb Raider".) Little cut-scenes in the game. (Sort of.) The enemies are evil creatures like bulldogs, bugs, and THE EVIL FLYING SQUIRRELS!! (Oh, my land! Flying SQUIRRELS!) Nice fun graphics. Sound: It sounds like Mario Land..... Music: Standerd Disney fare. Not to bad though. It won't win any awards; but it is just good enough in some spots. Other spots you should play with the volume down all the way. You should do that if you have pets as well. It's for the good of humanity. Play Control: Standard excellent Capcom Play Control Final Analysis: Fun distraction; it's quality. BUT, you may only like it if you are a Disney fan. It's a little too "cute" in some spots; but it has challenge and THAT counts. A solid purchase.
