Quest for Camelot Game by Titus Reviewed by -=\^/@!+er=- rex84@epix Size: 8 Megabits (1 Megabyte) Save: Battery/1 save slot Released: January Works with: GameBoy/GameBoy Color compatible Opening Snide Remarks: Another Action/RPG? I loved Zelda: Link's Awakening, and I loved Final Fantasy Adventure. I wonder if this is just as good ... Gameplay: Well, this game tries to be Zelda, but fails misserably. Your character is pretty big (and has a huge head), and moves slowly. Your sword is tiny, which makes fighting in this game tedious, and drawn out. The save system is horrible. In order to save you must have a certain amount of coins, so if you wanna save, but you're low on cash tough luck. Also, whenever you want to talk, or a message comes up, it takes about 5 seconds. This doesn't sound so bad, but it get REALLY annoying within the first 5 minutes. Also, you character moves really slowly. Anything else that's bad about this game? Probably, but I can't think of it now. Graphics: The graphics of Quest for Camelot are ok. The main character and bad guys were drawn pretty poorly, though. Also, there are some still frames that look like scenes from the movie. Those look ok, but they're nothing special. Sound: The sound effects are all pretty solid, but there don't seem to be too many of them. Music: Music? As far as I can tell there's only one song, and it's pretty bad. At least they put in an option to turn it off. Play Control: Everything works pretty well. My one major grip was they made it especially difficult to talk to people. Instead of being near the person you want to and pressing "A", you have to be facing the person while pressing "up" and "a." It's all pretty bad. Final Analysis: This is a game that tries to be Zelda, but fails on all accounts. Don't buy this game.
