Spell Checker and Calculator Game by Infogenius Review by The Avardancer Size: 512 Kilobits Save: None Released: 1990 Works with: Any Gameboy Version. Opening Snide remarks: Hmm. Not much to say here; but this sounds like a good excuse to bring a Gameboy to school.. Gameplay: There is no Gameplay; this is a Spellchecker and a calculator. But, it does have a lot of good usage and since it's interface is easy to use; you'll want to keep this one handy for those hard math questions. There's no "Scientific" option though; but it's okay. I always thought that "Scientific" calculators were a gratuitously stupid idea; when all mathematic functions can be done on paper or with a normal calculator. The Spell Checker is well, just that, a Spell Checker. It's good for when you need to learn who to spell something and a great arguement stopper. But it want's me to replace the word "Gameboy" with" Gamely", or "Gamest". Graphics: Crisp Clear and easy to see on any version of Gameboy. Sound; Some annoying beeps, and other sounds. Turn the volume all the way off, please. Music: There isn't any. Play Control: Easy to use; and that's a good thing. Final Analysis: This is a great little gadget with no-frills; but you'll have a hard time convincing people that you're Gameboy is only here for "Study Help". I you are useing it on a Gameboy Color, you have to cover up the infrared data port with scotch tape to take it into the ACTs or SATs. Score: Gameplay: *** Graphics: ***** Sound: * Music: 0 Play Control: ***** Total: 14 Final Score 46% (Please don't let this low score hinder you from getting one of these though; it's a great gadget for everyday use.) Currently Known Codes: Umm. This is a calculator; it has NO codes.
