Street Fighter II Game by Capcom Reviewed by Adrock gbcam@hotmail.com Size: 4 Save: None. Released: 1995 Works with: Any Game Boy **************************************************************************** Opening Snide Remarks: Wow, they put Street Fighter II into a Game Boy? Super. **************************************************************************** Gameplay Descripion: First of all I would like to say that this game is really fun. Not as fun as KI, but still fun. You have 9 characters to play as, some of them regulars and some of them bosses (so in a way, it is actually SF2 Turbo.) There is also a survival mode. This game was kind of late for the SNES release, but it did finally come out and it did a pretty good job. Liked: Good mix of fighters. Plain fun. Hated: Not as fun as KI. **************************************************************************** Graphics Description: It looks picture perfect on Super Game Boy. Multi-color palettes, and each arena you go to has a different SGB frame. The animation tends to skip frames once in a while, but all in all it's A-OK. Liked: SGB Potential. Hated: Frame rate so-so. **************************************************************************** Sound/Music Description: Songs are OK revisions of the SNES songs. Liked: Sound FX are nice. Hated: Songs, so-so. **************************************************************************** Play Control/Game Design: What's happening onscreen and what you are currently doing doesn't always jive. But overall you will find that the moves are easier to perform, perhaps easier than SNES, on Game Boy. Liked: Easy moves. Hated: Another framerate problem. **************************************************************************** Improve: Alpha! RIYL: KI. **************************************************************************** Final Words: This game is a good companion for KI. **************************************************************************** Score Gameplay: **** Graphics: ***** Sound/Music: **** Play Control/Game Design: **** Personal Opinion: ***** Total: 22 out of 25 Final Score: %88 **************************************************************************** Currently Known Codes: None.
